Instructions for denture care

Make sure to clean it once a day, preferably before going to sleep.

Clean your denture after eating with cold running water while handling it correctly to avoid bending or breaking any clasp if found.

Use the overnight tablets to soak the denture in. This will keep the denture moist and clean, which ensure its better function.

Remember to wash the denture thoroughly before putting it in to eliminate any trace of the soaking solution.

Make sure not to use abrasives, harsh toothpastes, strong cleansers, or bleaching agents to clean the denture. These will weaken the denture and change its color.

Don’t forget to place it in its box every time you remove it.

Rinse your retainer with cold running water before eating or drinking to avoid staining the aligner or breaking it.

Clean it with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste or clear soap to remove any debris at least once a day. You can also soak it in cleaning solution for 20 minutes two times a week to enhance the cleaning process.

Rinse very well before putting it in your mouth, especially if it was in the soaking solution.

 Keep your aligner in its case after removing it. Aligners can be lost easily if they aren’t correctly maintained. Flossing and cleaning your teeth regularly to avoid having plaque between your teeth will help with correct placement of the aligners.
